Kleine AG: Weil Conjectures
Program
The next Kleine AG is going to be on the Weil conjectures: More precisely, our goal is to study Deligne's proof of the Riemann hypothesis part
of the Weil conjectures (Weil II
), with Laumon's simplification via the \(l\)-adic Fourier transform. Here is the detailed
     program.
Date
12 March 2022, from 11:30-19:00.

Notes
Some speakers wrote notes for their talks, and let us share them with you below. Thanks very much to them!

         Rein's talk
         Patrick's talk
         Felix' talk
         Manuel's talk
Next Time at Kleine AG
We have voted on the next topic, and it was decided that the next Kleine AG will be on p-adic Hodge theory. It will be organised by Felix Zillinger and Paul Siemon, and will presumably be held in Bonn. For further information, please sign up to our mailing list (see below).
Place
This time, we are going to meet at the Mathematical Institute of the University of Bonn. The talks will be in Kleiner Hörsaal, Wegelerstr. 10. The meeting is organised by Mingjia Zhang and Ben Heuer. Contact us if you have any further questions
What is Kleine AG?
    Kleine AG (roughly small workshop
) is a one-day workshop where young mathematicians meet to learn one specific topic in number theory or algebraic geometry through a series of talks.
Apart from learning maths, the idea is that it's fun and a nice opportunity to meet new colleagues. What's a young mathematician
: Mainly advanced Master's students and PhD students, with some postdocs sprinkled in. Kleine AG has a long tradition and meets roughly twice a year.
Do I have to give a talk?
No, you can also just come and listen and ask questions and meet people. That said, it's definitely more fun to give one, plus you will probably learn more. But it's all pretty relaxed.
Website
The traditional website is currently moving to a different server, and we've taken it offline while it is settling in. For now, this temporary website serves to organise the 2022 Kleine AG. You can still find the history of Kleine AG programs here .
Mailing List
There is a mailing list which is the main means of communication for Kleine AG, in particular future dates and programs. To subscribe, just send an email to agzt-l-request@math.uni-bonn.de containing »help« in the subject line or body. This will give you instructions for how to subscribe.
