Kaif Hilman (MPI Bonn): A spherical characterisation of parametrised stability via Goodwillie calculus
Abstract
Nardin defined the notion of parametrised stability, axiomatising the structures surrounding genuine equivariant spectra for finite groups. In this talk, I will explain a new characterisation of this property in the presentable context using appropriate suspension functors which generalise the regular representation spheres. The method will proceed by way of a rudimentary theory of Goodwillie calculus in the parametrised setting. This is based on joint work with Sil Linskens.
