Kaif Hilman (MPI Bonn): Equivariant Poincare duality for finite groups
Abstract
In this talk, I will introduce the notion of Poincare duality spaces in the equivariant setting for finite groups and discuss a Smith-theory-type statement that can be made relating equivariant Poincare duality with Poincare duality on the fixed points. Time permitting, I will also indicate a potential application of the theory. This is joint work with Dominik Kirstein and Christian Kremer.
