Tashi Walde (Universität Regensburg):
Inductive vs coinductive (∞,∞)-categories
Abstract
There are two main ways to pass from (∞,d)-categories for all finite d to the limit d → ∞: one can either take the limit along the core functors or along the localization functors (respectively, the right and left adjoints to the inclusions). We investigate the relation between the two resulting notions of “(∞, ∞)-categories”. More precisely, we show that one is a localization of the other, and characterize the maps that this localization inverts. This talk is based on joint work with V.Ozornova and M.Rovelli.
