Daniel Kasprowski (Universität Bonn): Counterexamples in 4-manifold topology

Abstract

I will review the most commonly studied equivalence relations between manifolds and their implications. Afterwards I will explain examples of pairs of 4-manifolds illustrating the failure of other potential implications. The talk is based on a joined survey paper with Mark Powell and Arunima Ray.
