Steffen Sagave (Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen, The Netherlands): Multiplicative structures on Thom spectra and parametrized spectra

Abstract

In this talk I will explain how to set up a category of parametrized spectra with favorable multiplicative properties. As an application, I will outline how this leads to a conceptually simple construction of generalized Thom spectra.
