MANUEL ARAÚJO (MPIM Bonn/University of Oxford): Bordism and duality in low dimensions

Abstract

I will talk about the idea of using the cobordism hypothesis to give presentations of (fully extended) bordism categories. I will illustrate it with examples in dimensions two and three.
