Content of the course
This course will develop the étale cohomology of schemes. As a motivation sheaf cohomology of topological spaces will be discussed as well.
Prerequisites
Algebraic geometry and homological algebra, for example as discussed in the lecture Algebraic Geometry II from summer term 2022.

Hopefully lecture notes will be prepaired in parallel to the course.

Discussion session
Starting on 20.12.2022 there will be a discussion session each tuesday, 12-14h, N0.003, which is held by Vladyslav Shram.
Exams
Contact me during the course if you want to take an oral exams. The oral examinations will take place in early february (6.2.-8.2.) or late march (22.3.-24.3.).
