Overview
The course will provide an introduction to Fourier restriction, and applications. The topics include stationary phase estimates, Strichartz estimates, applications to nonlinear dispersive equations, bilinear Fourier restriction, and applications.
Prerequisites: Basic Bachelor level courses in Analysis: measure and integration theory, and basic functional analysis. Familarity with the Fourier transform will be very helpful.
Homework: There will be no homework assignment for this special lecture.
Course text: There are lecture notes available, pertaining many further references.
Examination
Oral exams (30 minutes) will take place on 27th July and 28th July, 2026 (first examination period) and on 5th and 6th October, 2026 (second examination period).Aktuelles
