Location

The summer school and the workshop will take place in "Søminestationen", Holbæk, which is a field-station and conference center belonging to Roskilde University. It is situated at the idyllic shore of one of Denmark's longest fjords, the Isefjord, and surrounded on the other sides by Dragerup Forest, a beautiful old forest which partly belongs to the venue.

There is a reservation of rooms for the night from May 16 to May 17 at the Youth Hostel in Roskilde for participants of the SUMMER SCHOOL who do not stay for the WORKSHOP. The cost for this accomodation is covered by the registration fee, respectively by the grant.

The conference center consists of two newly renovated buildings originating from 1883. Until 1940, the place functioned as a naval base used for testing torpedoes. Nowadays it contains pleasent overnight facilities and is equipped with excellent class and conference rooms. There is wireless internet connection at the venue.
