What I expect from a students' seminar talk
- understand the maths you are talking about and present it correctly
- answering questions from the audience in a good way
- pedagogical effort
- suitable examples
- well organized blackboard
- good hand writing
- body language
- contact with audience
- time management
- Your talk should last between 75-85 min.
- Usually you cannot cover all the material in a single talk. It is your job to choose the content of your talk wisely. (Which statements and definitions are important? How to illustrate them via examples? Does it make sense to have a ``running example''? Decide between complete proof, idea of a proof, no proof.)
- Everyone who wants a very good mark (better than 2,0) does a free presentation without using any lecture notes.
