University and Max Planck Institute for Mathematics, Bonn (Germany)

winter school : 2 - 6 January, 2008
conference : 7 - 11 January, 2008

Theme

The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers interested in moduli spaces of geometric, analytic or algebraic structures. Since they occur in different branches of mathematics, the techniques tend to differ, but there are nevertheless unifying questions, and solutions crossing borders. The conference can be a plattform for the productive exchange of ideas. The speakers will be asked for talks accessible to the researches and students from different branches of mathematics.
The winter school prior to the conference intends to introduce doctoral students and young researchers by a series of mini-courses to the main topics and themes of the conference.
