A conference on the occasion of Carl-Friedrich Bödigheimer's 70-th birthday

Dates:

November 19th and 20th, 2026. Registration starts on November 19th, at 10:30. Tentative end: Friday, November 20th, at 15:30.

Scope:

The conference will bring together colleagues and former students of Carl-Friedrich Bödigheimer and more generally everyone interested in topology, and will be a celebration of his contributions to the topology of configuration spaces and moduli spaces. These topics have seen tremendous activity and advances in the last decades. There will be contributions ranging from pure mathematics to music, biology and computer science.

Organizational details:

The conference is taking place in the Lipschitz-Saal of the Mathematical Institute of the University of Bonn.

Unfortunately, we cannot reimburse travel or accommodation expenses. Some hotels in walking distance from the Mathematical Institute are Hotel Kurfürstenhof, Motel One Bonn-Hauptbahnhof, InterCity Hotel, Best Western President, Hotel Mozart. The speakers will presumably stay in the two first-named hotels.
