Motives
you find some unpublished manuscripts, most of them are unfinished. In the folder
buch you find a text
on algebraic geometry, it is a preliminary version of a two volume book.. The first
volume, for which a revised version exists, covers Chapter I - V and is about to be finished. The second
volume needs revision. Furthermore you find also some Chapters of a Volume III, which
has the title
"Cohomology of Arithmetic Groups". It is meant to be an introduction
into that subject. Since it aims at applications to number theory it
also covers the beginning of the theory of Shimura varieties, the
topological trace formula and so on. So the volumes I and II
may also serve a preparation for the study of Vol III. The material is contained
in the .pdf-files Chap2.pdf-chap6.pdf. It starts with chap2 because it refers to the first two volumes.
Especially in chap2.pdf we refer to Chap IV in volume I because we need the cohomology of sheaves
and other tools from homological algebra. The content of the file sl2neuj.pdf covers some material
on representation theory of Sl(2,R) and Sl(2,C). It is referred to from chap3 and it is in German.
In the folder
Eisenstein
you find some manuscripts on modular symbols, special values of L-functions and
mixed motives in Shimura varieties. I plan to write a continuation of my
book "Gemischte Motive".
This is an updated version of my home-page, the first vesion was written by my students
in 1999. A left some remainders of this original page.
