I am an Assistant Professor (Akademischer Rat auf Zeit) at the Mathematical Institute
of the University of Bonn
. Up until
recently, I was a Hausdorff postdoc under the mentorship of Christoph Thiele
Hausdorff Center for Mathematics
, also in Bonn.
I obtained my Ph.D. from UC
in 2012 under the supervision of Michael
, and before that I graduated from the
University of Porto
with a B.Sc. in Mathematics.
I am broadly interested in mathematical analysis. My research
focuses on harmonic analysis with special emphasis on sharp inequalities,
oscillatory integrals and restriction theory for the Fourier transform. More recently I became interested in uncertainty principles and nonlinear Fourier analysis.
