During the academic years 2008-2010 I was a postdoc at the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics. Before I was a graduate student at Stanford working under the supervision of Ralph Cohen. The title of my thesis was "Cobordism of Orbifolds".

My research interests are cobordism, orbifolds, string topology and the topology of moduli spaces.

Previously I was an undergraduate at Universidad de los Andes, where I studied model theory and set theory, I wrote my thesis "Topological methods in the study of Vaught's conjecture" (in spanish ) under the supervision of Xavier Caicedo.
