Markus Hausmann (U. Bonn): Global classifying spaces and filtrations of equivariant K-theory

Abstract: 
Arone and Lesh constructed two filtrations associated to the (connective) K-theory spectra 
of the real or complex numbers or of a discrete ring: the (modified) stable rank filtration
and the complexity filtration. In this talk I will discuss a (global) equivariant version of
these filtrations, focusing on the example of complex K-theory. In particular 
I will give a description of the filtration quotients and explain the behaviour 
on the zero-th equivariant homotopy group. All this is joint work with Dominik Ostermayr.
