Lecture Course: Representation Theory I

  • Course on Lie algebras
    We will start with basics and structure theory of finite dimensional complex Lie algebras and study their infinite dimensional representation theory in detail. The second part of the course will be on Lie algebra cohomology and some examples of infinite dimensional Lie algebras.

    Prerequisites: Solid knowledge in Algebra. Algebraic groups and Lie groups are useful but not necessary.
